Quell’uomo pur essendosi ritirato a vita monastica per seguire Gesù e la sua Parola, per donarsi totalmente a Lui, non aveva ancora capito il significato vero della prima Beatitudine. Nonostante gli sforzi non riusciva a staccarsi dall’oggetto. Allora possiamo dire che in ogni vocazione: matrimonio, vita consacrata, sacerdozio, ecc. un cuore libero porterà sempre frutto usando ogni bene posseduto come se non esistesse offrendolo a chi ne ha bisogno.

Un’altra cosa importante consiste nel saper capire quando non denunciare una persona facendole così del male per un furto subìto. Il Signore premia sempre chi sa perdonare e non si vendica. Nei tribunali esistono molte denunce fatte a persone che non potranno mai pagare un processo, e che il furto subito poteva essere benissimo perdonato. Spesse volte nella nostra vita i furti avvengono e devono be seen as proof that the Lord gives us to make more free from petty things, where moth and rust consume them.
